Goleta is two markets in one. There’s the local main-street economy: the Old Town shops and restaurants, the trades, the family businesses around Camino Real Marketplace. And there’s the tech, aerospace, and UCSB-adjacent side, where the buyers are more technical and the site has to hold up to a sharper eye. I build for both.
Whoever your customer is
- Local-facing businesses need to be found by people nearby and look credible when they are. That means clean local pages, fast load times, and an easy way to get in touch.
- Technical and B2B firms near UCSB and along the Hollister corridor need a site that signals competence to people who can tell the difference: real performance, sound structure, and a stack that won’t embarrass you in a sales conversation.
- Everyone needs it to stay handled: managed hosting, updates, backups, and a real person to reach, rather than a site that quietly rots until it breaks.
A South Coast developer, not a faraway agency
I worked on the South Coast for eight years before taking Digital Anchor full-time, and I rebuilt Santa Barbara Wedding DJs, moving it off Squarespace onto a modern, faster stack while protecting every ranking. I know the Goleta-to-Santa-Barbara market and the businesses competing in it, and I’m close enough to actually show up when it matters.
